Quality of drinking water
Quality of drinking water - It should be ensured that the water supplied for domestic and public consumption is clear, potable, and free from pathogenic organisms, undesirable taste and odour. Water should be of reasonable temperature and free from minerals which could produce undesirable physiological effects. The physical, chemical and bacteriological standards should be as per IS 10500.
